Structural Energetic Therapy
S.E.T.
Structural Energetic Therapy a/k/a S.E.T. Therapy, is a corrective form of bodywork designed to address long-standing tension patterns, structural imbalances, and chronic pain at their source.

While traditional massage often focuses on relieving symptoms, S.E.T. looks deeper — at how the body has adapted over time.

Injuries, stress, repetitive movement, and emotional strain can all contribute to postural distortion and compensation patterns. Over time, those patterns can create persistent discomfort, limited mobility, and recurring pain.

This work is about restoring alignment and improving function — not forcing change, but helping the body return to a more natural, supported position.

What to expect
Sessions begin with a conversation and postural assessment. We look at how your body is holding itself — where it may be compensating or overworking.
Treatment often begins with cranial structural techniques to help release deep holding patterns. From there, focused myofascial and structural work addresses specific distortion patterns.
This is intentional, progressive work. Each session builds on the last.

A Process, Not a One-Time Fix
Structural work is most effective as a series. As alignment improves, the body begins to move with less effort. Pain patterns often reduce not just because tissue was loosened — but because the underlying imbalance was addressed.
The goal isn’t to “fix” you.
It’s to support your body in returning to balance so movement feels easier, posture feels more natural, and pain is no longer driving your daily experience.
Sessions are scheduled according to how your body responds to the work. In the early phase, when we’re addressing deeper structural imbalances, more frequent visits — sometimes twice per week — may be recommended to help initiate change. As pain decreases and alignment improves, sessions are gradually spaced out. Once your body can maintain the new structure comfortably for a week, we extend to ten days, then to two weeks, and continue progressing as stability allows. The intention is always to create lasting change — not dependency — and to support your body in holding the work over time.
